Pilgrimage to the Subliminal

Dorothea

"The best way to go into unknown territory is to go in ignorant, ignorant as possible, with your mind wide open, as wide open as possible, and to not have to meet any requirements but one's own." - Dorothea Lange

This image pays homage to Dorothea Lange, who was one of the most notable photographers during the 1930s. She was tasked by The Farm Security Administration (FSA) under the Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) administration to document rural poverty and the great migration westward during The Great Depression.
