Photographed in Rosalie Alley (aka Voodoo Alley), Baron Samedi (aka Baron Cimetière, Baron La Croix, and Baron Kriminel) is a Loa of the dead. He is the head of the Guédé family of Loa. 'Samedi' means 'Saturday' in French. He stands alongside his wife, the Loa Maman Brigitte.
